The role

As our new Speech Pathologist you will be working within our multidisciplinary team to administer assessments, provide direct and indirect intervention, and liaise with families, teachers, professionals & support staff.

This permanent full-time role offers the possibility of flexible working arrangements for the successful candidate.

Our fun and friendly working environment provides frequent opportunities for collaboration, ongoing professional learning and case discussion.

Full administration support is provided to clinicians including bookings, confirmation of appointments and billing.

Duties

  • Assist children and adolescents (and their families) with a disability or developmental delay to work towards increased functional independence and social participation
  • Provision of interventions to both participants and their families, including: assessments, recommendations, therapy/training
  • Work together with the wider team to achieve the best possible outcome for our participants and their individual goals

Requirements

  • Full and current AHPRA registration
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and their families to make therapy enjoyable and engaging
  • Interest in professional development
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
