Emotional Regulation Program
This 10 week course can be delivered weekly or fortnightly, virtually or in person. Sessions are tailored to suit your child’s needs and developed in collaboration with the Allied Health Team and delivered by a skilled Allied Health Assistant.
Road to Regulation is a 10-week course that aims to equip the Participant with a variety of social-emotional skills that will assist them to best manage their emotions and navigate social situations.
Skills covered include;
- identifying their emotions
- identifying personal triggers
- exploring tailored coping strategies,
- matching reaction to the size of the problem
and more
Road to Regulation is delivered in a way that is fun, age appropriate and highly tailored to the client’s interests. For example, some sessions may involve role play using LEGO or art mediums to allow the individual to express their emotions.
Early Intervention Sensory Group
Weekly social group for children aged between 6 – 10 yrs.
The focus of this group is to improve the development of language and communication, and sensory and emotional regulation. This fun activity is staged in a sensory environment where children can explore a range of activities such as a climbing wall, feel a range sensory objects and interact with other children.
Bickering To Bonding
This 10 week course can be delivered weekly or fortnightly, virtually or in person. Sessions are developed in collaboration with the Allied Health Team and Provisional Psychologist. The program is delivered by a skilled Allied Health Assistant.
Tailored to Suit Your Sibling’s Needs.
The course aims to equip the participants with conflict resolution skills in order to build a harmonious relationship with their siblings. Additionally the course will also offer ways for your child to manage their emotions in relation to their siblings actions.
Delivered in a Fun, Supported Enviromnet
“Bickering to Bonding” is delivered in a way that is fun, age appropriate and relatable to the client. For example, some sessions may involve role play using various mediums such as puppetry or art to allow the individual to express their emotions.
